  • NOV 23 UPDATE TO BELOW ANNOUNCEMENT:
    APPLE
    Apple has finally approved the update to the Bible Quizzer app without comment and without apology. Apparently, we won the appeal. Unfortunately, this action by Apple has caused us to re-evaluate our plans for the Apple version of the app, as we are now hesitant to submit updates. Note: the Android version is unaffected by Apple policies and will continue to receive updates and new features.
  • NOV 19 APPLE APP UPDATE:
    APPLE
    APPLE UPDATE: WE ARE AWARE OF SEVERAL BUGS IN THE UPDATED VERSION OF THE APPLE BIBLE QUIZZER APP BUT ARE UNABLE TO FIX THEM. The Bible Quizzer total overhaul for Apple is now on hold. Apple is currently refusing to allow us to post any updates INCLUDING BUG FIXES until we comply with their totally arbitrary and capricious demands, and they have so far been unable to show us which guideline we are supposedly violating. In the 12 years that we have been an Apple app developer, this scenario has played out at least 4 times. Unfortunately, you, the users, are the ones who will be most impacted by Apple's draconian policies. They are trying to force us to release modules prior to the release date set by the quiz program. Apple is not in control of our policies or the policies of our clients, and we will not bow the knee to them. We are currently appealing their decision, and our appeal has been escalated twice now and is ongoing. Unfortunately, unlike any other tech company such as Microsoft or Google, Apple wields total monopolistic control over any software running on their operating system, and the only way to install apps or updates is to go through them. We will post updates here as they are available.
  • NOV 19 ANDROID APP UPDATE:
    ANDROID
    The total overhaul of the Android app is complete and the feedback has been very positive. Obviously, major updates create bugs, so thanks to everyone who contributed by letting us know about them.   • App Modules Not Downloading OR Question-Pro files not syncing
    ANDROID + APPLE
    If you are having trouble downloading purchased modules OR synching Question-Pro files, try switching to wi-fi and turning off your cellular data. An issue exists on cell phones where some connections are blocking access to our web servers. This is usually resolved by switching to wi-fi and turning off cell data until the module is downloaded. Please contact us if you continue to have problems.
  • Restoring Purchased Modules
    ANDROID
    Simply choose Restore Modules and your purchased modules will download to your device as long as you are signed into the exact same account using the same email address.
    APPLE
    If you HAVE NOT uninstalled the app, then simply go to RESTORE. If you uninstalled the app, then you must go through the entire purchase process, even up to the point where Apple asks you to confirm you are purchasing the module again. After you confirm, you will be told that you already purchased it and will be asked if you want to download it again for free, to which you again say YES. We know this process is backwards of how the process should work, but this process is handled entirely by Apple and we have no control over it. Once again, we are sorry for the inconvenience that Apple's policies are causing our users.
  • Using Bible Quizzer modules on multiple devices
    ANDROID
    Simply choose Restore Modules and your purchased modules will download to your device as long as you are signed into the exact same account using the same email address. If this does not work, you will have to contact Google Play customer support for guidance. We are unable to work around the Android sharing rules.
    APPLE
    If you are trying to use a purchased module on multiple devices ON THE SAME APPLE ACCOUNT and USING THE SAME APPLEID (email address), you must go through the entire purchase process, even up to the point where Apple asks you to confirm you are purchasing the module again. After you confirm, you will be told that you already purchased it and will be asked if you want to download it again for free, to which you again say YES. We know this process is backwards of how the process should work, but this process is handled entirely by Apple and we have no control over it. Once again, we are sorry for the inconvenience that Apple's policies are causing our users.
